NEW Halloween 2018 Trailer!

 

After months of nervous waiting and speculation, the new Halloween trailer landed today. I saw an interview with co-writer Danny McBride talking about they were working on a palpable sense of dread, and, man, did they ever nail it.

So, after viewing it, what do you think? I was sold at the teeth in the bathroom stall. Bring it on, October 19th!

The highly-anticipated Danny McBride/David Gordon Green co-written film began shooting in Charleston, South Carolina on January 13th and releases 10/19/18. The movie dissolves the idiocy of all the films beyond the original and brings us Laurie Strode, thrilling fans with the return of Jamie Lee Curtis, If this still has you questioning the integrity of the new film, John Carpenter himself is back as the executive producer, consultant, and shares his eerie scoring talents once again.

Nick Castle reprises the role of Myers along with stuntman/actor James Jude Courtney. Archer favorite, Judy Greer is cast as Laurie’s daughter, Karen Strode. Relative unknown, Andi Matichak, landed the film’s lead, portraying Laurie’s granddaughter.

Newly cast actors include Virginia “Ginny” Gardner (Hulu original The Runaways), Miles Robbins (My Friend Dahmer), Drew Scheid (Stranger Things), and Dylan Arnold (Mudbound, When We Rise). These lucky kids are all playing school friends (probably victims) of Karen.
