‘What We Do in the Shadows’ Series Gets a Pilot at FX

Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement, the ghoulish co-stars, co-writers, and directors of the mostly under the radar 2014 film, What We Do in the Shadows, has landed at FX! The duo serve as executive producers for the upcoming vampire series with Clement as the writer and Waititi directing. Paul Simms, Garrett Basch, Scott Rudin, and Eli Bush will also serve as executive producers.

Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, and Harvey Guillen will star in the adapted to television series. Just how the 30 minutes series will go is still a mystery. Waititi tells Fandango that the series moves from New Zealand to the United States. There is currently no confirmed release date.
