‘American Horror Story: Freakshow’ Offers Up Twinsies

I suspect any day now, the promo dam will break, leaving fans of American Horror Story scratching their heads at the machine gun pace of nonsensical teasers. Until that happens, lets take a look at co-creator, Ryan Murphy’s Twitter photo from the set of the series’ fourth season, titled Freakshow. In the teaser pic below, we see Sarah Paulson who’ll be playing, yep, twinsies! And in the most disturbing manner possible.

Set in Jupiter, Florida in 1950, this year’s season follows Jessica Lange, who plays a former German patriot. What is her twisted offering for season four? She puts on one of the nation’s last traveling freak shows; a fine horror setting for certain. Lange’s character is reported to have rescued several unusual oddities portrayed by Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy. Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts will also return in new roles, hopefully giving O’Hare MUCH more time this time around.

As usual, the series debuts in October on FX. After some serious hit or miss seasons over the last three years, I’m ready for a rock solid season. This is Lange’s last season, so let’s see her go out in style.
