A: Pours a pitch black with two fingers of thick, mocha head. Great retention and lacing, leaving a coating from top to bottom.

S: Bittersweet chocolate, roasted malts, charred grains, molasses, marshmallows, tobacco, damp leather, subtle dark fruits. There’s a lot going on here.

T: Sweet chocolate, dark fruits, muted espresso, a huge ethanol blast, before surrendering to bittersweet chocolate notes.

M: Medium to heavy mouthfeel; very dry and sweet.

O: Quite a power punch from Evil Twin. This assertive brew is just one more example of the time and care they put into their very artistic beers.
