Devil Music of the Day: Periphery “One” (Metallica Cover)

Now, why didn’t Metallica record a version like this? The reverb-rich guitars and ACTUAL bass line left me pondering if this was better than the original. Don’t get me wrong, I bought my first guitar after seeing Metallica in 1986, and they are without a doubt, the biggest metal band ever. The superior musicianship of Periphery combined with the arrangement are pushing me more towards their version. Don’t even get me started on Trivium’s “Master of Puppets” cover.
