I refuse to take shit for loving Bates Motel. It’s still moving towards a third season, so the show has more viewers than just me. Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga have shaped the Norma/Norman Bates mythology in ways I never imagined. This season has been nuts in terms of over-the-top emotional weirdness – and in a good way. The second season comes to a close Monday, May 5th only on A&E.
Norman (Freddie Highmore) is haunted by a tragic event in his past. Norma (Vera Farmiga) tries to save Norman from making a horrible mistake. Romero (Nestor Carbonell) and Dylan (Max Thieriot) try to bring closure to the drug war. Emma (Olivia Cooke) makes a decision about her future at Bates Motel.
