Today Left Hand Horror showcases several amazing entries to the Djent genre/scene. Djent, as most of you know, is an onomatopoeia, a sound that mimics the heavy palm-muted guitar and super high-gain distortion found in Djent. You know, that thing you do when you’re mouth tries to find enough triplets to go djent-dent DJENT DJENT DJENT djen-jen-jen-jen-ja-djent. You typically encounter this when trying to describe a Slayer riff. The term may have been coined recently, but metal heads have used it for decades. I’m thrilled to have lived through so many new and evolving styles and sub-styles of metal over the years. I’ve listened since I was 8 years old and I always will. Enjoy.
