Enjoyed from a Bell’s tulip glass
A: Pours a hazy copper-orange with three fingers of frothy white head that hung around for several minutes. Great retention and lacing.
S: Grapefruit and pine up front with some dank, earthy tones. Unusual for an IPA. Bready grains beneath the hops, some subtle apricot and alcohol rounds it up.
T: Unusual tidal wave of thick malts rolls across the tongue before the hop profile kicks in. Pine, resin, juicy citrus fruits and some tropical fruit before that potent earthy flavor finishes. This is a very complex IPA and deserves some extra time to process.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, sticky and dry.
O: We just started receiving Green Flash in the last year and I’m always happy to try their amazing West coast hop approach. This is a delicious IPA, but has a unique characteristic in that inexplicable dank, earthy tone. Killer IPA.
