‘Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale’ Craft Beer Review – Anderson Valley Brewing
Brewed by Anderson Valley Brewing
$8.99/sixer
Style: Pumpkin Ale
6.00% ABV
Serve at 40-45°
Availability: Seasonal (Fall)
Enjoyed from a pint glass
A: Dark brown/amber with a thin layer of off-white head. Minor retention.
S: Standard pumpkin ale signature. Pumpkin flesh, cinnamon toast, allspice, cloves, mild orange, and some grainy malts.
T: Ugh. Artificial spice flavors mixed with metal. I keep looking for loose change at the bottom of the glass.
M: Medium bodied with fair carbonation.
O: This seasonal brew is terrible. If you like the taste of pennies and cheaply imitated natural flavors, man, are you in luck. This was my first drain pour in the better part of a year. I’m glad I only bought a single. Do not want.
