Teaser Trailer for “Bates Motel” Season 2 Will Have You in Stitches

Sorry. I think it’s a rule that horror bloggers have to kick off these official teasers with the worst pun imaginable. Surprised by the raw power of Bates Motel, season one, I found myself hooked on this dreamy, prophetic horror history. Everyone is familiar with Norman Bates, now we can get to the roots of his motivation, and A&E aren’t dumbing it down. Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga are back as the less than charming Norman and Norma Bates.

Season Two will debut in 2014.

A modern re-imagining and prequel to the movie Psycho (1960), “this story begins with the earlier years of a teenage Norman Bates and his mother Norma who live in an old house overlooking the adjoining motel which they are renovating.
