Notes:
This intensely hopped and gushing undead pale ale will be one’s only respite after the zombie apocalypse. Created with our marvelous friends in the comic industry. Art by Tim Seeley. 60 IBU Formerly known as Cenotaph: A medium bodied single hop beer showcasing Citra hops from the Yakima Valley, USA.
A: Pours a gorgeous, opaque amber-orange topped with a finger of white head. Abundant lacing.
S: Resinous pine and grass initially before a crazy amount of tropical fruit sweetness. Orange, Tangerine, Mango, Pineapple, and Peach make for a heavenly aroma. Citrusy hops, as expected, help combine this unusually perfect smelling APA.
T: As expected, ale bliss. Starts off dry before the fruit takes over completely, allowing pulses of Citra hops to roll across the tongue. I get a little Apricot or Nectarine along with the other fruits. This is a remarkable APA.
M: Medium bodied with low carbonation. Dry finish with plenty of alcohol to burn.
O: In a word: holy shit. Pale ales have become so boring to me that I almost instinctively go for heavy-hitting DIPA, many from Three Floyds. This one, however, this is one bad ass pale ale. I would be bored with the 6.40% ABV if this wasn’t a A list brew. Three Floyds once again prove their amazing hops skill and I’m thrilled this is available all year-long. \m/
