Enjoyed from a snifter
A: Pours a clear amber-orange with two fingers of off-white head. Nice sudsy lacing that remains to the end.
S: Strong fragrance of piney, resinous hops and crisp citrus tones. Grassy, floral notes burst in the background, providing a nice contrast for the peach, nectarine, grapefruit, and orange.
T: The taste undoubtedly follows the nose. Big waves of fresh and crisp West coast hops dominate the tongue. Fresh citrus and peach provides a sweetness in the swallow before finally settling into a warm throat-tickling alcohol burn. Hop bomb status = confirmed.
M: Medium bodied with low carbonation. Crazy amounts of hop oil coats the tongue – very sticky with a creamy mouthfeel.
O: Stone are constantly providing some of the best West coast IPAs and craft brews straight across the board. I have a fresh Growler of W00Tstout in the fridge, but the IPAs go down so easily on the hot late-summer days.
