Availability: Year Round
Enjoyed from a snifter
A: Pours a clear honey-orange color with two fingers of frothy white head.
S: Leafy, earthy, citrusy hops with a combination of sweet caramel malts. Very fresh and grassy.
T: The citrus takes the opening credits before it transforms into a sweet, subdued resinous flavor. Dank lemon and grapefruit notes as well as some sugary notes from the malts.
M: Medium bodied, full carbonation with a slightly dry finish.
O: SweetWater are new to Lexington and I’m glad to have them. This offering is simply better suited to session drinking as there are just too many similar brews that dominate the market. Clocking in at less than 6% is a deal breaker for me. We just started getting Three Floyds’ Alpha King in bottles, so skip the 420 and leave it to those that still celebrate that holiday – there’s a fresh Alpha King waiting for you, Lexington.
Swap it out for their IPA and you’ve got a great slightly sweet daily!
You got it. A friend in Atlanta used to ship it to me. Love the IPA! It’s a welcome site at my local stores.
