Obligatory Ridiculous: A Bunch of New Clips from True Blood S6E9 “Life Matters”

True Blood apparently still has a weekly plot synopsis – not sure what the point is. I used to write a weekly review, but once again – what’s the point. Much like crappy 80’s pop songs, True Blood is nothing but a guilty pleasure. Devoid of originality, passion or skill, the show is a blood-soaked nudity showcase, and that’s still okay with me. Let’s be honest, even with some cool character additions and occasional one-liners for the ages, this show had one good season: the first. Jessica is still gorgeous, Sookie still gets naked, blood and camp does flow, so maybe it’s just terrible enough to transcend itself. Here’s the breathtaking synopsis for this Sunday.

“A desperate Bill (Stephen Moyer) tries to ferry Warlow (Rob Kazinsky) away from the faerie plain, but Sookie (Anna Paquin) is having none of it. Meanwhile, Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) arrives at vamp camp, looking to inflict serious human damage. In Bon Temps, friends and family take emotional turns remembering a fallen neighbor.
