The First “American Horror Story: Coven” Teaser Invites Us to The House of the Rising Sun

There is a house in New Orleans…. the haunting lyrics of The Animals’ The House of the Rising Sun paints an eerie and appropriate image of things to come. If you remember late last summer, you have to recall the 20+ teasers this show chugged out. I’m not saying I didn’t enjoy them, it was just a pain in the ass to post one every 3.4 hours. Who am I kidding, I would post one every ten minutes if they delivered the creepy promos.

Mark it on your horror calendar, kids, Murphy and Falchuk are bringing us a little slice of Creole terror starting on October 9th. As anticipated, the third season takes place in NOLA, what a place to feature American horrors, right? The series will feature a lot of familiar faces returning for a second or third season, along with some A List premieres. Look at this freaking cast and try to fake your enthusiasm…someone get me a tissue.
