Brewed by Boulder Beer
$8.99/Six Pack
Style: Winter Warmer
5.94% ABV
Serve at 45-50°
Availability: Winter
Enjoyed from a snifter
A: Pours a clear copper with espresso-colored head. Minimal lacing from a two finger’s of foam.
S: Roasted English malts with a touch of tannin (maybe) and toffee. There’s a faint aroma of spices and citrus. Very fresh and brisk to the nose.
T: A lot of roasted malts, caramel, mild citrusy hops. Cinnamon and holiday spices round it out. It’s nice to see restraint used in this area.
M: Medium-bodied, creamy with very little carbonation. A little thin if anything.
O: Not bad. I bought a single and I was glad of it. This beer is just okay imo and the low ABV doesn’t help the argument. If I’m drinking – I want to know it. Maybe a good alternative to all the over-spiced Christmas brews, but just a little meh in my book.
