“’Ghost Adventures’ continues to be one of the most popular shows on Travel Channel and enjoys an incredibly loyal audience. We are always looking for new ways to build connectivity with our viewers, and with the incredibly passionate fan base that follows this show, we knew this series was a perfect fit to launch the Network’s first-ever dynamic social media integration,” says Laureen Ong, President, Travel Channel. “Mass Relevance, the company responsible for bringing this technology to our network, will certainly provide an added dimension to this viewing experience.”

Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures,” currently in its seventh season, follows lead paranormal investigator Zak Bagans, along with fellow investigators Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin, as they explore the scariest, most notorious haunted places in the world. By interviewing eyewitnesses and historians at each location, the trio arm themselves with the stories of the ghosts they later confront during their dusk-to-dawn lockdowns. They then review and analyze their findings with some of the most respected experts and specialists in the paranormal field. On Friday, December 7, the team heads to Mineral Wells, Texas, to explore the Baker Hotel. Although this 450-room, 14-story hotel has been closed since 1972, it’s certainly not empty. It was built to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of visitors who came to Mineral Wells each year to drink the healing waters the locals dubbed “Crazy Water”; and Bagans, Groff, and Goodwin seek out the spirits behind the “Crazy Water” in this crazy town.”

Additionally, seven new original episodes have been added to this season’s lineup, beginning Friday, January 11, 2013, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT and airing through April 2013. All-new investigations include the Wyoming Frontier Prison in Rawlins, WY; Sailors’ Snug Harbor in Staten Island, NY; The Mystere Mansion in New Orleans, LA, and more. Intermixed between new locations are themed specials focusing on some of the most unforgettable moments throughout all seven seasons of the show.
