Brewed by West Sixth Brewing – Lexington, KY
Style: American IPA
Serve at 40-45
Enjoyed from a pint glass
A: Pours a clear amber-gold with a finger of frothy white head. Great lacing throughout.
S: Lots of citrus up front. Grapefruit, lemon, orange; caramel and biscuit rounds it out.
T: Piney hops, caramel, biscuits, juicy citrus goodness. Very well-balanced and matches the nose.
M: Medium-bodied and very creamy. This feels great – awesome canned IPA.
O: What a proud moment to be a Lexingtonian beer snob. This is my first experience with this young brewery and it’s ensured my eventual visit to their well-reviewed bar. This is great news for hopheads as well, as it makes a nice impression in an IPA-saturated market. This refreshing IPA is a welcome entry to my regular rotation. I urge to you try this is out if you’re a local – bourbon isn’t the only game in town.
