Brewed by Three Floyds Brewing Co.
Style: Irish Dry Stout
Serve at 45-50 Degrees
Enjoyed from a DFH Signature glass
A: Pours a watery black color with tan head reminiscent of root beer. Looks thin, but has clingy lacing.
S: A basic boilerplate of roasty malts and hops. The hops feel a little out-of-place.
T: Roasted malts, chocolate with a hoppy dry finish.
M: Very thin and disappointing.
O: I guess this isn’t really my kind of stout. The low abv, weird mash-up of flavors, and watery consistency really turned me off. I adore Three Floyds enough to drive to Indiana to pick it up, but this isn’t their best offering. Pass on this one.
