Brewed by Great Lakes Brewing Company
Style: American Double/Imperial IPA
Serve at 50-55 Degrees
Enjoyed from a pint glass
A: Pours a golden pale orange with two fingers of foamy white head. Leaves a lot of lacing.
S: Very sweet and fruity. Apricot and orange with a light hoppiness. Very subdued for a DIPA.
T: Very sweet, honey, pineapple, citrus. Finishes with a nice hop bite and alcohol burn as it warms. The taste is much more complex than the nose.
M: Medium-bodied with a dry finish.
O: This is a pretty solid beer. While it’s no Hopslam of Dreadnaught, it is Great Lakes best offering. Great on a hot Kentucky day.
