Brewed by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
Style: Fruit/Vegetable Beer
Serve at 40-45 Degrees
“Enjoyed” from a tulip glass
A: Poured a clear, golden-amber color with one finger of foamy/bready head. Very little lacing is present.
S: Smells like a cheap wine cooler. Sour/sweet grapes, almost like a cross between a peach lambic and white wine. There is a faint aroma of strawberry.
T: Everything the smell confirmed. You can taste the fruit, the strawberry flavor is very lacking though. It kind of smells like a diet strawberry water or something similar. I swear the last flavor that hits is Chloraseptic.
M: Medium carbonation, light-bodied. Feels thin and watery across the tongue.
O: I love DFH, I really do. My collection of broken signature glasses are a testament to that. Once again, just because you can brew something, that doesn’t necessarily mean you should. Maybe the worst beer I’ve reviewed. I seriously can’t think of a reason anyone would drink this. I don’t think a gluten-intolerant fan of terrible beer could get behind this one.
