Style: English India Pale Ale
Serve at 40-45 Degrees
Enjoyed from a nonic tumbler, draught from The Beer Trappe, Lexington.
A: Pours a bright, but slightly hazy orange. Huge, white and foamy head with pinpoints of orange.
S: Citrus and piney up front with a hint of methanol. Lemon and touch of mint.
T: Disappointing. The hops are lost for the most part and not very balanced. Too much of an American/fruity hop flavor.
M: Moderate carbonation, medium-bodied.
O: This is a decent brew. It’s going to be a major disappointment if you’re expecting something as good as Two Hearted or similar brews that stand out in their style. I doubt I would buy an entire six-pack.
