Style: American Black Ale
Serve at 40-45 Degrees
Enjoyed from a pint glass
A: Pours a thick, black color with a finger of foamy, tan, head that hangs out for quite a while.
S: Very nice. Big burst of hops initially, grapefruit/orange, chocolate, roasted malts. A truly great balance.
T: Wow. Powerful pine hops and roasted malts instantly. It kind of reminds me of FFF Alpha Klaus. Think a porter meets a DIPA. Strange, but it really works.
M: Medium-bodied, smooth and creamy. Nice.
O: Stone get it right…a lot. This is a very interesting and complex ale. This is not a brew for a beer noob. Great price for such a quality ale.
