A: Beautiful bright amber with a finger of sudsy foam, sticky lacing.
S: Simply awesome. Big burst of piney resins and grapefruit immediately. Mango, pineapple, floral notes, little bit of alcohol and caramel mixed in for good measure.
T: Nice! Juicy citrus, sweet malts give way to a crisp, hoppy finish. This is surprisingly well-balanced.
M: Nearly perfect body. Lightly carbonated, just enough to make you notice the creaminess.
O: I was thrilled to see these four packs on the store shelf today. I missed the bombers last year and was really wanting to try this. I’m a fan of Sierra Nevada, and I hoped this was going to be their masterpiece. This is in the same league as their Bigfoot. If you’re a hophead, this is a must try. This easily belongs in the company of the big DIPAs. Sober up and go grab some before they’re gone.
