I love me some Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. This is one part of life where weirdness is rewarded. I’ll be the first to tell you I hate the original Dark Shadows show, but the film looks fantastic. It stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and also features Michelle Pfeiffer, Chloe Moretz, Eva Green, Jonny Lee Miller and Jackie Earle Haley.
The first trailer just landed and I think it looks fantastic. This is my bag, baby.

I usually enjoy JD, and I ALWAYS enjoy the TB/JD(often DE) combo, but… I do feel that this trailer plays Dark Shadows a bit too much on the humor/campy side. I hope that’s not the overall tune of the flick!
I hope that’s just Burton showing how he is embracing a campy side and not the theme of the entire movie. It better be!
