Style: Russian Imperial Stout
11.03 % ABV
Serve at 50-55 Degrees
Enjoyed from a pint glass
A: Black as night with two fingers of fluffy mocha-colored head. Lacing is sparse, but present until the end.
S: Roasted chocolate, brown sugar, dark fruit, cocoa, anise with a malty/alcohol backbone.
T: Roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate, mild alcohol burn, warms into vanilla with a touch of molasses. Delicious.
M: Medium carbonation, full-bodied, creamy and thick. A masterpiece of brewing.
O: Delicious, affordable (traits that don’t always go hand in hand) an incredible RIS through and through. Avery belong up there with the Michigan masters in my humble beer-loving opinion.
