Dexter tries to figure out the Doomsday Killers’ next victim before it’s too late; Debra has a strong reaction to a crime scene, which leads her to the realization that she leans too heavily on her brother.
As far as Dexter goes, this has been a relatively slow season for our Bay Harbor Butcher. Season six is soaked in religious themes which is pretty much a guaranteed win for me personally. Horror and religion are the best bed mates sometimes. These bed mates have spent the entire season in foreplay until last weeks big shocker involving the clearly insane Travis. I’ve been complaining the entire season that Hanks has been playing too safe a character. Now we know why.
With Travis stepping into the big bad’s shoes, I have faith that Dexter is going to spiral into pure insanity. Last week lit a fuse on what will hopefully be a bright explosion of a season.
