In this dark spin on the fairy tale, siblings Hansel and Gretel are a formidable team of bounty hunters who track and kill witches all over the world.
We’ve reached the point in our society that it’s okay for former Presidents to be vampire hunters, we have dark shows like Grimm in prime time – so why can’t these crazy kids have an agenda? This classic tale with a new twist is the latest in a series of genre-jumping movies that seem to be finding their place. Hansel (Renner, The Avengers, The Bourne Legacy) and Gretel (Arterton, Quantum of Solace) have grown bitter after an incident involving a gingerbread house [snicker] fifteen years ago. Now trained and proficient bounty hunters, aided by an unexplained resistance to curses and spells, they track and kill witches with ease. They eventually go up against the big bad, an evil sorceress (Famke, The X-Men) intent on sacrificing the local children. Call me crazy, but this might be just cool enough to work. Plus, hey, cool poster font.

I’ve been in love with fairy tales for as long as I can remember so I will SO be watching this!
Looks cheesy as hell but i am still going to watch it
I felt the same way about ALVH, and loved it.
