I say partial review because I turned off this POS in the middle. I’m at the point where I watch so many movies, that I don’t have time to waste on an obvious failure. I’m not joking when I say this movie became dumber as it progressed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m thrilled that the stunning Biel didn’t use a pretty face to “sell” this movie, I’m just pissed off that ever her acting was sub par at best. The acting was clunky and ridiculous as was the town-wide conspiracy that plunged deeper into non-redemption on its way down. The family scenes made me laugh out loud – and not because it was intended to be funny.
This was worse than The Apparition imho, so, at least they were dedicated to something – sadly, they were dedicated to creating a horror movie that needed improvement to even qualify as shitty. Don’t bother. I promise you’ll be pissed at yourself.

Thanks for the review, Fister; I only wish that I had read it prior to seeing the movie. I watched it over the weekend. I went online and rented it on Friday evening shortly before leaving my office at DISH. The movie was downloaded and ready to watch from my Hopper DVR before I got home. Sadly, I sat through the whole movie, and the acting was just as clunky and sub par as you said it was. The only Tall Man I care to remember is the mortician from the Phantasm films.
Oh man, too bad you’re so full of SHIT. I wish the BEST for your WEAK ASS SPAMMING in the future and shove that HOPPER up your ASS.
Best wishes. Andy the Asshole.

Sad-making. I had otherwise heard good things about this. Still going to give it a go.
