Looks like the gig is up for Dexter! I’m assuming it is, at least until Dexter gives a “reasonable” explanation. The last season dumbed down our favorite serial killer, so what does that mean for the new season?

Dexter executive producer, Scott Buck, tells TV Guide, “Viewers might think we shy away from that moment of Debra walking in and seeing Dexter stabbing into Travis’ chest, but it’s just the opposite. She now has to deal with what she’s seen and what she knows. And it forces him to defend and define himself.”

Here’s my predictions:

“Deb…*sigh* what would you do if your son was in danger…Deb, you’re my sister…”

Deb drops the gun, hugs her brother, cries her eyes out and then asks him “Will you go with me?”

Roll credits.

This might be ridiculous and dramatic, but so was the last season. Get your shit together now, Dexter: Season Seven.
