Enjoyed from a DFH Signature glass
A: Pours a clear, orange-copper with two fingers of khaki-colored head. Very nice lacing.
S: Mild hops, apricot/peach or a very sweet fruit aroma, a little malt in the back. Very bland. I expected more.
T: Very underwhelming. Mildly sweet with a little apricot sweetness, the lack of hops is surprising.
M: Medium-bodied, dry. Very smooth IPA if nothing else.
O: So boring. This might be great if pulled out of an icy cooler on a hot ass Kentucky day. Otherwise, this is neither an IPA nor a convincing fruit beer. It’s like a watery peach lambic. Skip it unless this is just your dream combination. I hate to give DFH a “meh”, but a meh is in order.
